FZ100 Flood Emergency Water Barrier for Factory Warehouse
DongHui flood control barrier is made of ABS engineering plastic in one piece, and the width can be customized.and common heights are 50/75/80/100 mm.ABS flood barriers are specialized protective structures designed to prevent water ingress in flood-prone locations. These barriers utilize advanced polymer technology to create temporary or semi-permanent water-resistant walls that can be deployed rapidly when flooding threatens. The significance of ABS flood barriers in modern flood management cannot be overstated, as they provide crucial protection for both public infrastructure and private property during emergency situations.

FZ100 Flood Barrier
The versatility of ABS flood barriers makes them particularly valuable in diverse settings. They are extensively deployed along river channels to prevent water from overflowing into adjacent residential or commercial areas. In urban environments, underground parking garages represent particularly vulnerable spaces where even moderate flooding can cause millions of dollars in damage to vehicles and structural systems. ABS barriers installed at garage entrances serve as the first line of defense against water intrusion during heavy rainfall or storm surge events. Beyond these primary applications, these barriers protect warehouses, logistics centers, subway entrances, tunnels, and other critical infrastructure facilities that require robust flood protection measures
1: Working principle:
The top of the board is held down by floodwater, while a stabilizing rubber material below holds the contact surface in place. The higher the water pressure, the more stable it becomes (L-shaped bookend principle).
2:Flood barrier Performance
2.1 Enhanced Waterproofing Performance
The modular flood control panel uses a detachable composite material panel. Anti-slip strips and seepage-proof pads are added to the bottom, along with a front P-type polymer rubber sealing strip, increasing waterproofing performance by 50% and significantly reducing leakage. It meets the Japanese Class 1 waterproofing material standard.
2.2 Improved Structural Strength
Appearance: The water-facing surface of the product is curved. The first-generation flood control panels had right-angle joints, which were prone to damage due to stress concentration. Our company changed the shape of the joint surfaces of the flood control panels, replacing right angles with beveled angles, thereby dispersing stress and significantly improving structural strength.
2.3 Stainless Steel Spring Lock Connection
The unit splicing method is a spring lock type.
A stainless steel spring lock is installed on the flood control panel, connecting and locking the panels together. The first-generation flood control panels used a plate-to-plate interlocking connection, which, due to the inherent characteristics of the plastic material, resulted in insufficient bonding strength, and in extreme cases, the locks could slip out and fail. The new method uses stainless steel metal buckles for connection and locking, resulting in a more stable connection and more than doubling the overall rigidity of the assembled water-blocking panels.
2.4 Enhanced Joint Strength
Reinforcing ribs are installed at the joint surfaces, with sealing strips embedded within the ribs to protect the sealing strips from damage by external objects.
2.5 Reduced Storage Space
The waterproof panels can be stored upright in pairs or triplets, reducing storage space. They can also be transported and installed in combination, saving time in emergency situations.

3: Flood barrier installation Pre-Installation Checklist
Before deploying your cost-effective ABS flood control system, complete these essential steps:
3.1 Measurement and Selection
- Measure the protected area’s perimeter
- Identify lowest ground elevation points (water enters here first)
- Select barrier height: Add 20% to predicted flood level as safety margin
- Calculate required panel quantity (typically 1-2 meter sections)

3.2 Surface Preparation
- Remove loose debris, gravel, and organic matter
- Clean oily or greasy surfaces with degreaser
- Note: ABS barriers seal effectively on concrete, asphalt, and compacted soil
- For rough surfaces, prepare flexible skirting material
3.3 Step-by-Step: Rapid Deployment (Boxwall Method)
Step 1: Position and Orient Position the first panel with the L-shape’s horizontal leg facing the anticipated water direction. This orientation is critical—the water pressure will push the barrier down and back, creating a tighter seal rather than lifting it.
Step 2: Connect Modules Align the interlocking mechanism (usually a pin-and-socket or slide-track system). Apply firm pressure until you hear or feel the connection click. Each joint creates a watertight seal through compression gaskets embedded in the ABS.
Step 3: Seal Corners and Endpoints Corner sections require special attention. Use dedicated 90-degree corner pieces rather than forcing standard panels to bend. At endpoints, secure terminal caps and apply flexible membrane sealant along the wall interface.
Step 4: Final Inspection Walk the entire barrier length, checking:
- All connections fully engaged
- No visible gaps at ground level
- Corner pieces properly oriented
- End seals tight against structures
